Plantation Place Assisted Care Facility, Boise, Idaho
“Petersen • Staggs Arcthiects LLP did all the architectural work for us when we decided to the build Plantation Place Living Facility. It is a 25,000 sq. ft. building with 39 apartments, a library, full dining room and kitchen, beautiful courtyards and great stucco lines. Tim Staggs was very helpful in not only creating the look of the building but also helped me in choosing the right contractor for the job and at a competitive price. Tim helped us with the location of the facility as well.”
Bruce Murdoch, President, Plantation Place
This care facility’s grounds are extensively landscaped with berms, trees and shrubs. A concrete patio and water feature of natural rock are outdoor focal points. Concrete pathways wind through the building’s three interior courtyards. Benches and landscaping provide shaded sitting areas. This one-story care facility’s architectural style fits into the surrounding residential neighborhood. The building has concrete tiled roofs and stucco walls with exposed brick veneer accents. The 39-bed facility also contains a communal kitchen, great room, dining room, laundry and library as well as nursing, physical therapy, administrative and salon facilities.
